CareFlash logoThrough an alliance with CareFlash, Hand to Hold provides fully-featured, easy-to-create communities, that go miles beyond online guestbooks. At no charge, parents may set up their own secure community with a blog for sharing updates and well wishes, a photo gallery to share photos, thousands of 3-D animations of medical information to get everyone up to speed and a fully-functional iHelp Calendar to request and organize assistance from friends and family.


Neotech logoFounded in 1986 by a physician and two biomedical engineers, Neotech is a leader in the development of innovative neonatal, pediatric and respiratory products that have helped patients worldwide. Neotech’s specialty is in creating skin friendly products that are ideal for newborns. In addition to serving the hospital market, they also cater to those in a home health setting. Much of the equipment they offer is used in the care of babies in a NICU setting, including nasal cannulas, suction devices, pulse-oximeter wraps, and much more. All of their equipment is made in the USA and they pride themselves on their quality control. Neotech is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of premature babies, their caregivers, and their parents, which makes them a natural fit to partner with Hand to Hold.

St. David's HealthCareWith more than 60 sites across Central Texas, St. David’s HealthCare  includes seven of the area’s leading hospitals and is one of the largest health systems in Texas. Known for compassionate, high-quality care, the organization has been recognized with the Texas Award for Performance Excellence, the highest honor bestowed by the State of Texas based upon world-class quality measures. In addition, they are the only healthcare system in Central Texas to be named among the nation’s top 15 healthcare systems by Thomson Reuters. They have also developed Centers of Excellence, such as the St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, to advance care for maternal and child care. St. David’s has been involved with Hand to Hold since its inception, providing valuable feedback and safe places to pilot parent support programs at its facilities to best find the range of services that work for families. The encouragement from medical professionals and leaders at all levels have been invaluable to Hand to Hold’s development and expansion.

Mothers’ Milk Bank of Austin is non-profit organization whose mission is to accept, pasteurize and dispense donor human milk by physician prescription, primarily to premature and ill infants. Hand to Hold educates parents about the benefits of human milk and volunteering opportunities for mothers who have milk to share.


National Perinatal Association

New NPA flyerHand to Hold is a member of the National Perinatal Association whose mission it is to promote the health and well being of mothers and infants enriching families, communities and our world. Hand to Hold also is an active participant of NPA’s Family Advocacy Network which promotes the health and well being of parents and infants by giving a voice to families and their support group representatives in the multidisciplinary arena of maternal child health.



The National Coalition for Infant Health

The National Coalition for Infant Health (NCfIH) is a collaborative of professional, clinical, community health, and family support organizations focused on improving the lives of premature infants and their families. NCfIH’s mission is to promote lifelong clinical, health, education, and supportive services needed by premature infants and their families.


Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation

The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation (NILMDTS) introduces remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the free gift of professional portraiture. These images serve as an important step in the family’s healing process by honoring their child’s legacy. NILMDTS administers a network of more than 7,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and 25 countries who provide remembrance photography at no cost. Hand to Hold is proud to partner with NILMDTS to share this important service with families who have lost a precious baby.

Pediatrix’s innovative clinical model is reshaping the delivery of critical care through investments in the clinical, information and management systems necessary to advance evidence-based medicine. Pediatrix’s clinical information system strategy provides the framework for research, education and continuous quality improvement initiatives which allow its clinicians to enhance outcomes nationwide. A Hand to Hold is partnering with Pediatrix by officing in their new Austin, Texas facility as of fall 2011, Austins’ First Steps, to provide in-person peer support to families bringing children for developmental assessments after staying in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
