Families from across 
Central Texas joined Hand to Hold for our third annual Preemie Power Family Celebration at the Dell Diamond’s United Heritage Center at 5 pm on Friday, August 24, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas. The free celebration featured a super hero theme, ball park buffet and fun activities for all the once-tiny heroes of the NICU and their siblings. Families stayed for the Round Rock Express game which began at 7 pm and the fireworks after the game. Families had the choice to enjoy watching the ballgame from the comfort of our event room or in reserved seating in the stadium. Hand to Hold los invita a nuestra tercera celebración anual “Preemie Power Family Celebration” en el United Heritage Center de Dell Diamond a las 5 pm el Viernes, 24 de Agosto 2012 en Round Rock, Texas. El tema de la celebración gratuita es súper héroe y va haber buffet y actividades divertidas para todos los que 
una vez fueron pequeños héroes de la NICU y sus hermanos. Las familias son bienvenidas a quedarse para el partido de los Round Rock Express que comienza a las 7 pm y los fuegos artificiales después del partido. Las familias pueden disfrutar viendo el juego de béisbol desde la comodidad de nuestra sala de eventos o tomar un asiento en nuestra área reservada. Boletos para asientos en las gradas son primero llegado, primero servido.
Activities included the following:
- Cupcake walk (Cupcakes courtesy of Michelle’s Patisserie)
- Toddler zone
- Balloon Sculpting by, Tony Maxironi
- Craft table
- Ball park buffet
- Watch the baseball game from our air conditioned party room or grab a seat in our reserved section
- And enjoy fireworks after the game!
Round Rock Express Vice President and General Manager, George King, served as Master of Preemies 2012. And special activities during the game took place such as an interview on the field sharing the mission of Hand to Hold with all the attendees at the ballgame and having previous preemie power winners throw out the first pitch.
