Helping Hands Highlights Blog
Read family stories where parents serving as peer mentors or “Helping Hands” share their experiences with premature birth and loss and what motivates them to help other families who may be new to the experience and could benefit from support. We also periodically feature families who have received support from Hand to Hold and can share why having a peer mentor who has has gone through a similar experience is so powerful and crucial to their healing and navigating the many care resources that are available.
Preemie Power Blog
Hand to Hold holds an annual photo and essay contest Preemie Power which culminates in a family celebration and NICU reunion to celebrate the accomplishments of preemies of all ages and their “super hero” strengths. Parents post and share inspiring stories and photos of their child and children which spreads hope to parents everywhere, and particularly those new to the world of premature birth.
