This past Saturday, Life After NICU held our 1st Birthday Bash at the gorgeous Waubonsie Lake Park in Aurora, IL.
We had a great turnout, in spite of the chilly temps! The weather was absolutely beautiful – bright blue skies and still breathtaking fall colors abounded. The kids had a blast on the brand new playground and the adults certainly got their exercise keeping an eye on them. In the end, Julie and Jeff were the lucky winners of our raffle prizes!
Special kudos to Nurse Julie, our NICU Care Coordinator and a big LAN cheerleader, and Dr. Ahmed, one of our favorite neonatologists – thank you for coming out to support us!

We would like to thank everyone who came to our 1st Birthday Bash on Saturday!
