Hand to Hold offers socials for parents at Central Texas hospital NICUs and at other locations to give parents who are new to the experience safe places to connect with other parents who have been there before.
Preemie Mom Nights Out
Is the summer heat getting you down? Do you need to sit on a cool patio near the water with a cold drink? Join Hand to Hold and preemie mom Michelle Hensel for Preemie Mom’s Night Out.
Spend time with moms who understand. Let’s get together to share stories, share advice and learn from each other. Whether you are currently in the NICU or years past, we invite you to Hand to Hold’s monthly, informal get-togethers. Together, we hope to create friendships and a support network of all you amazing preemie moms.
- Thursday, February 16th, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. at North by Northwest.

Cookies & Milk
When your baby’s in the NICU sometimes it’s the little things that count. A warm cookie and a cold glass of milk is a sign that someone cares. Several times a year’s Hand to Hold brings cookies and milk to local NICUs for families. Volunteers deliver not only treat,s but a message of hope. Whether you like to bake or you just want to pick up a batch from your favorite bakery – your contribution is welcome. Contact Family Support Navigator Erika Goyer at erika [at] handtohold [dot] org for the next date.
