Welcome to season 13: In Their Own Words
Season 13 of NICU Babies Parent Support explores the NICU experience through the voices of parents, NICU graduates and trusted professionals. Through personal stories and expert conversations, the season looks beyond individual diagnoses and circumstances to the lessons families often carry with them long after the NICU — resilience, advocacy, asking for help, finding moments of levity and learning how experiences can shape us over time.
Guests include NICU families at different stages of their journeys, couples, NICU moms and NICU graduates, including Seattle Seahawks player Derek Hall and his mother, Stacy. The season will also tackle topics ranging from laughter and levity in the NICU to more difficult conversations around infant loss and SUID.
Above all, Season 13 is about connection: helping NICU families feel less alone, offering practical wisdom from those who have been there, and reminding parents that while every NICU journey is different, there are experiences and lessons that can connect us.
