After taking a break from our Annual Baby Shower Luncheon due to Covid-19, we are excited to say, “It’s back, baby!”

Those who have had a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit know the value of community. Communities are there to welcome us, to celebrate with us through good times, and to lift us up during the difficult ones.

Hand to Hold’s Annual Baby Shower Luncheon honors all families who have experienced life in the neonatal intensive care unit or the loss of a baby. This spectacular annual event raises funds for Hand to Hold, which will allow us to expand support and programs for these families in Central Texas and in communities across the United States.

For our 2022 event, we are thrilled to announce our special guest speaker, Mindy Henderson! Mindy Henderson is a Motivational Speaker, Writer, Host of “The Truth About Things That Suck” podcast, host of the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) “Quest” podcast, guest contributor of “Morning Motivations” on CBS Austin’s “We Are Austin” lifestyle morning show, and was just named an “Austin Woman to Watch” in the May 2021 issue of Austin Woman Magazine’s annual “Women to Watch” issue.

Mindy helps others see how to live more productively and positively. Her mission is to inspire people to understand that when they take responsibility, stop making excuses and OWN their adversity, they become stronger people and true potential is revealed.

Join Hand to Hold and members of the Austin community for an afternoon of celebration and reflection on the lives of these fragile babies and their resilient families. Activities will include fun and unique baby shower games with prizes such as jewelry, spa treatments, fine dining gift certificates, vacation homes, and much more.
