Join us!

Those who have had a baby in the neonatal intensive care unit know the value of community. Communities are there to welcome us, to celebrate with us through good times, and to lift us up during the difficult ones.

Hand to Hold’s 5th Annual Baby Shower Luncheon honors all families who have experienced life in the neonatal intensive care unit or the loss of a baby. This spectacular annual event raises funds for Hand to Hold, which will allow us to expand support and programs for these families in Central Texas and in communities across the United States.

For our 2018 event, we are thrilled to announce our special guest speaker, Ginger Zee! Ginger is the Emmy Award-winning chief meteorologist at ABC News, covering the nation’s weather headlines on Good Morning America and across all ABC News broadcasts and digital platforms. She is also the New York Times bestselling author of Natural Disaster: I Cover Them; I Am One, published in December 2017.

Ginger will be sharing her message of resilience and self care with our community, leaving audiences feeling renewed, empowered, and intensely moved by her raw, poignant chronicle of life as a Natural Disaster.

Join Hand to Hold and members of the Austin community for an afternoon of celebration and reflection on the lives of these fragile babies and their resilient families. Activities will include fun and unique baby shower games with prizes such as jewelry, spa treatments, fine dining gift certificates, vacation homes and much more.

Watch Melissa and Brandon Cason, 2017 Baby Shower Luncheon co-chairs, talk about the impact Hand to Hold has had on their family.
