Hand to Hold, a national nonprofit that provides personalized emotional support, educational resources and community to NICU parents, is excited to welcome Sarah Inbau as Chief Growth Officer. Inbau had previously served on Hand to Hold’s Executive Board of Directors since 2020 and is a NICU Mom. Hand to Hold set an ambitious growth target last year of serving 40% of all NICU parents by the end of 2026. To reach this goal, we determined we needed an executive-level role to lead strategic growth across the organization as well as lead marketing, strategic partnerships, and tech product innovation. Inbau will report to Founder and CEO, Kelli Kelley.
“When I had my son, he was transferred to a Level 3 NICU while I recovered from a C-section at another hospital. It was unexpected, traumatic and disruptive to our bonding time and an experience that gave me a new perspective forever,” says Inbau, whose youngest son, Parker, required a NICU stay.
Inbau is a seasoned marketer with depth of experience in brand, product and cause marketing, digital transformation, creative & media development, and strategic partnerships. She is an experienced cross-functional leader with demonstrated results and learning agility in Operations, Research & Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain roles.
“As Chief Growth Officer, I am committed to removing barriers for parents to receive support and creating new strategic pathways for growth. Growth for Hand to Hold means more NICU parents will receive free emotional support, educational resources and a community when they are feeling vulnerable, sad, scared and alone.”
Inbau has a multi-disciplinary career background with a blend of strategic vision, digital innovation, data driven insights planning and cross-functional leadership orchestration. Prior to relocating to Austin, TX and launching GrowthCycle Consulting, she spent 15+ years with Kimberly-Clark Corporation working on iconic brands including Huggies® and Kleenex®.
Inbau is a passionate leader and coach who believes in leading with a daily combination of head, heart and humor. She lives in Austin, TX with her husband Christian, two sons, Dawson and Parker, and Dempsey the Goldendoodle.
